Fertility Screening and Investigations

An infertility consultation involves an appointment with a fertility specialist/nurse to discuss diagnosis and possible treatment of infertility. This is an avenue for couples who are facing difficulty conceiving. The appointment will give a general idea of the available treatment so they can make an informed decision.

Seeking treatment can be intimidating for couples, given the unpredictability of the processes. There is no guarantee on the extension or duration of treatments. Some couples successfully conceive on their first attempt, while others go through multiple attempts before achieving pregnancy. Hence, it is strongly recommended for couples to go through consultation before commitment.

  • Financial plans and treatment costs

Appointments are generally made following acceptance of a referral letter from a doctor, detailing any relevant information regarding the couple’s fertility history and results of any tests previously carried out. Your doctor will need to forward us all the necessary information about your case, including copies of previous test results.

Non-referrals:

Couples who do not have a doctor can personally arrange an appointment by calling or emailing Centre for Assisted Reproduction Pte Ltd (CARE) directly. Alternatively you can use the form here. Please do remember to bring along copies of any previous test results you may have to your first appointment.
